Nakatanggap ako ng email sa webhost ko na may site na “currently consuming excessive resources on our database servers”. I-su-suspend daw nila ang account ko kapag hindi ko na-solusyunan agad. Dahil gumigimik ako noong Biyernes, ngayon ko na lang uli naalala silipin ang suspension notice ng webhost. Ang website na may problema ay…

This letter is intended as a response to the server issue regarding ‘excessive spam and porn entries’ on my website, http://vajarlmetdracula.com

For some reasons, spam bots keep flooding my comments section. I have installed Akismet to prevent spam comments from my site, which as of the moment has successfully filtered 2,742 spam comments, according to its statistics on my dashboard.

I assure you that my website, http://vajarlmetdracula.com is not a porn site. You can scan its contents from the time it was opened up to the latest entries and you will not find a single pornographic photo, video, or even essays for that matter.

I think I receive about 100 spam comments daily. I never deleted them before since I always thought they would just disappear after a while. I was just recently informed that these comments will be added to the site’s database instead of them being deleted, so from this day forward, I will be deleting these spam comments daily.

If you can suggest anything that may help in preventing these comments from entering my site, that would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, please understand that these spam bots flooding my website is partially uncontrollable.
